The fourth quarter of 2023 saw significant activity in the health and fitness app market in Tunisia. Here’s a breakdown of how the top five apps performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Flo Period & Pregnancy Tracker experienced a robust quarter. Weekly downloads showed a consistent upward trend, peaking at approximately 8K in the final week of December. Weekly revenue fluctuated, with notable peaks of $38 in mid-October and $35 in the last week of December. Active users saw a slight decline from around 66K at the beginning of October to approximately 61K by the end of the quarter.

Sweatcoin・Walking Step Counter had varied performance metrics. Weekly downloads steadily increased, reaching a high of approximately 6.7K in the last week of December. Revenue was minimal, with only a few weeks showing earnings, the highest being $35 in late October. Active users saw a significant rise, peaking at around 43K in mid-December.

WalkBoost showed remarkable growth in downloads, surging from just 13 at the end of September to about 9K in mid-December, before settling at 4K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, reaching a peak of approximately 16K in mid-December.

Home Workout - No Equipment also saw a varied performance. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 5.5K in mid-December. Active users increased from approximately 18.7K at the end of September to around 27.1K in mid-December, before closing the quarter at 24.5K.

Lastly, Blood Pressure App had a notable increase in downloads, starting from 92 at the end of September and reaching a peak of around 10.8K in mid-December. Active users also saw a significant rise, peaking at about 12.5K in mid-December.
